My favorite color really is “October”!

If you live in the northern part of the state, autumn is a great time to visit some of Texas’ great state parks to enjoy hiking, camping, and horseback riding. And never underestimate the historical and educational benefits of such a trip (though your kids will be having so much fun, they may never notice that they’re learning). Each state park on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website has a “History” tab…among other things.
